"Moonstruck" (1987): John Patrick Shanley scripted this entrance about a little woman (Cher) who, after agreeing to marry a lyric but thimble-wit homo sapiens (Danny Aiello), momentarily falls madly in rapture with his younger, empassioned brother (Nicolas Enclose). Olympia Dukakis and Vincent Gardenia co-star in a witty, queer, attentive, and sensual comedy yon being struck unexpectedly through love. The acting is splendid, and director Norman Jewison brings the whole together. It's altogether anybody of the greatest quixotic comedies of all time.
